Guiding young minds, one hoot at a time.
Private academic support for years K-12, based in Sydney’s Inner-West & Hills District.
From Foundations to HSC Success
Primary School (Years K-6)
The foundational years. Our primary tutors are carefully selected for their ability to support younger learners with patience, clarity, and warmth.
Whether your child is struggling to keep up, needs help building core literacy or numeracy skills, or is ready for extension work, our tutors provide the personalised attention they need to grow.
We make learning engaging, fun, and developmentally appropriate. Many parents tell us their children genuinely look forward to lessons each week!
We offer tutoring for all primary grades, aligned with the NSW curriculum and tailored to your child’s individual needs.
High School (Years 7-10)
These are crucial years when students begin to form strong study habits, deepen their understanding of subjects, and gain confidence in their academic abilities.
Our tutors provide structured, curriculum-aligned support across English, Mathematics, and key subject areas. With a balance of guidance, clear explanations, and practical strategies, we help students stay motivated, improve assessment performance, and understand what they’re capable of.
For many families, having a consistent mentor during these years is invaluable.
We have tutors available across all core subjects and year levels.
HSC (Years 11 & 12)
The senior years can be challenging, and having the right tutor makes a great difference. Our HSC tutors specialise in their subjects, offering targeted instruction that builds confidence, clarity, and exam readiness.
We focus on more than just content. We teach students how to think critically, structure responses, refine exam technique, and manage the pressures of Year 11 and 12.
For many students, their tutor becomes a reliable support system throughout the stress of the final school years.
We offer specialised tutoring across all major HSC subjects, tailored to your child’s goals and aligned with NESA syllabus standards.

Our Story
Owl House Tutoring began from a personal experience. During my own HSC, I struggled to find support that was consistent, reliable, and truly helpful. Out of necessity, I developed my own systems for learning, and soon used those same approaches to guide my younger brother and sister through their studies.
What started as helping my siblings quickly grew into supporting local families while I completed my university studies. As demand increased, it became clear that many students needed personalised, steady, and curriculum-aligned support that traditional services weren’t providing. From this need, Owl House Tutoring was created.
Today, we’ve supported hundreds of students across Sydney and now focus our services on the Inner-West & Hills District, keeping it local and close to home. We’re a small team of tutors and academics who strive to help students grow in confidence, strengthen their academic skills, and succeed. Our work is guided by three core values: curiosity, education, and respect, which shape every lesson and relationship we build.
